Gentlemen, welcome to the new, ad free, CookieSlayer Collective forums. That's right. No more Google Ads for chocolate chip cookie recipes, contractors for building hardwood decks and relentless flash animation that just can't seem to finish loading. No more unpredictable server downtime, and failure to catch all new posts. No more flash images of a woman removing her shirt only to quickly put it back on inside out. Yes, no more shenanigans. The CookieSlayer Collective has arrived!!

CookieSlayers and CookieModerators, please register with our new forums so I may place you in the appropriate user groups and grant you access to the private sections of the forums. Regular members of the old forums, please feel free to register again here with us and join in on the open forum discussions. For those visiting here for the first time, the link to our old forums can be found in the Classic Collective link in The Database archive category.

Most of the Stickies and links threads I've copied and pasted from the old forums, so the information may not be totally up to date. Give me a chance to do a run through and correct any outdated information.

so i take it youre going to turn the invision free one into a read only archive then when youre done copying. Its what i did with my invisionfree when i made great-weapon. then people forgot about it so I eventually deleted it.

Already done. Take a look at them and you'll see the green SayNoToCookies logo for read only forums on everything but the News forums. I locked them up last night. What I'm going to do is, from now on, when we accept a new applicant, I'll create them an account at the old CSC and set them up with permissions to view the old forums.


Come to think of it, I need to disable sign ups over there.

Let me know if your permissions setup right here in a minute.

By the way, what do you guys thing of your new Avatar selections?

my connection is running slow so the images take a while to load but they seem pretty nice to me. Thats why Im using the one i have now. Simply because it looks cool.... in america.

EDIT: Incidentally, why can't I use the preloaded avatar SD09-EN014 (Ultimate Tyranno)?  Whenever I try to Change Profile with that picture selected, it always reverts to "(no pic)".  I've had to save it and upload it as my avatar (which is why I have it now).
